About the Owners and Family of Coleman Hay Farms

Our Story

Meet the Owners of Coleman Hay Farms:

Shawn and Andrew Coleman

At Coleman Hay Farms, Shawn and Andrew Coleman are first generation farmers!. They’ve been working together since 2014 and have continued to grow their business year after year. Farming is not just a business for them; it’s a way of life they’re excited to share with the community.

Shawn Coleman

"Hi, I’m Shawn Coleman, Co-Owner of Coleman Hay Farms. I graduated from Delaware Valley University with a Bachelor's degree in Agri-Business in 2016. I spend my days farming, tending to cattle, and trucking, often with my dog, Waylin, by my side. My wife, Meg, and our daughter are a huge part of my everyday life and enjoy spending quality time with them. Being a first-generation farmer is incredibly rewarding, and I’m happy to be able to share this with others."

Andrew Coleman

"Hi, I’m Andrew Coleman, Co-Owner of Coleman Hay Farms. I graduated from Delaware Valley University with my Bachelor's degree in Agri-Business in 2018. In addition to farming, I run my own contracting business, AJC Contracting, and I also co-manage A & S Highlands with my wife. Outside of farming, I enjoy hunting, camping, boating, riding, and traveling. Farming is a passion of mine, and I’m excited to share everything I’ve learned with others!”

Shawn and Andrew’s passion for farming has led them to expand and farm 300+ acres across Bucks County. Every year they grow, serving their many customers—both human and livestock—with the same dedication and care they’ve put into the farm since day one. Together, they are thrilled to continue growing their business, learning along the way, and sharing the joys of farm life with their community!

Our Family

Coleman Hay Farms, located at 138 Walter Road, was purchased in February 2021 by Mike and Coleen Coleman. This farm holds deep roots for the family, as it is where Shawn, Andrew, and Ryan first learned the ins and outs of farming. Over time, their skills and hard work helped grow their small farming venture into what it is today—Coleman Hay Farms!

In 2023, the Coleman family—Mike, Coleen, Shawn, Meg, Andrew, Shaina, Ryan, and Natalie—embarked on an exciting new chapter, diving into the world of Agritourism. The family is thrilled to share their farm with the community through a variety of fun and educational events, including:

  • Fall Fest: A seasonal celebration full of activities for all ages.
  • Christmas Countdown: A festive way to enjoy the holiday season on the farm.
  • Educational Farm Tours: Offering hands-on learning experiences for groups of all sizes.
  • Farming Demonstrations: See farming practices up close, including hay and straw production, animal care, and more.

At Coleman Hay Farms, we’re passionate about not only growing our farm but also connecting with the community and sharing the joys of farm life. We can't wait to welcome you and your group to our farm for an unforgettable experience!
