Important Information

Important Visitor Information

At Coleman Hay Farms, we are a fully operating farm, and for the safety and privacy of our family and animals, we are not open to the public throughout the week. However, we’d love for you to visit during our Scheduled Events or Scheduled Pick Ups.

Scheduled Events include:

  • Fall Fest
  • Countdown to Christmas
  • Farm Tours
  • Annual Auction
  • Highland Moo Meet and Greet
  • Pop Up Events

Scheduled Pick Ups for:

  • Hay
  • Straw
  • Erosion Control Products
  • Meat (including our Pasture-Raised Chicken and Angus Beef)

To schedule your pick-up, please contact Shawn or Andrew directly via cell phone (call or text).

We encourage you to stay connected with us and follow our social media for event updates, farm news, and more! We’d love to see you at our upcoming events.

Safety Reminder:
When visiting the farm, please enter with caution as we have friendly dogs and cats on the property.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you to our farm!

Important Details for our Events & Online Booking

  • Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your scheduled ticket time. For your safety, we ask that you remain in the designated area by the red barn. Our events begin promptly, so we kindly ask that you arrive on time.
  • You’ll notice that our cows are getting a brand new barn! Please excuse the construction—we truly appreciate your understanding as we make these exciting improvements.
  • Each person age 3 and over must have their own ticket. Children 2 years old and under may attend for free.
  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • This is a working farm, so we recommend wearing closed-toe shoes and to dress for the weather!
  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 7 days prior to the event to receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued after this deadline. This policy helps ensure other guests have the opportunity to sign up—especially if the event was sold.
  • If we need to cancel due to rain or warm weather (which is a possibility!), we’ll either reschedule you for the next available date and time, set up a rain date if possible, or provide a full refund.
  • Our Highlands specifically do not enjoy the heat and will usually retreat to the shade— unfortunately, shaded areas are not always accessible to guests. For their comfort and safety, we may need to reschedule visits on particularly hot days.
  • No pets, alcohol or smoking.
  • These are live animals, so we kindly ask for your patience. Our animals don’t always cooperate—after all, they’re cows!
  • Feel free to bring a camera or phone—our Highland cows love the spotlight!
  • Use the booking link provided to reserve your tickets! Be sure to update the quantity of tickets needed to avoid multiple checkouts (For our group events only!)

🎉 New Monthly Schedule Release!

We will release our schedule on the 1st of every month for the following month..

Tips to Enjoy Your Visit!

We want you to have the best experience possible at Coleman Hay Farms! Here are some helpful tips to make your visit even more enjoyable:

  • Wear Closed-Toe Shoes: For your safety and comfort, we recommend wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes while exploring the farm.
  • Bring a Camera: There are plenty of beautiful moments to capture, so don’t forget your camera or smartphone!
  • Be Patient and Kind to All Animals: Our animals are friendly and curious, but please approach them with care and respect.
  • Ask Questions! We LOVE questions, and we’re happy to share more about the farm, our practices, and our animals.
  • Enjoy Your Time on the Farm! Take in the sights, sounds, and fresh air!

We can’t wait to welcome you and share our farm with you. Enjoy your visit!

Waiver Requirement for Private & Ticketed Events

For the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, all visitors attending any event are required to complete a waiver prior to their visit.

Please fill out the waiver in advance to help us ensure a smooth and efficient check-in process.

Note: If you booked through our online booking site, there’s no need to complete a separate waiver — it was included in your booking confirmation.
